Experienced Carpenter

Our company is looking for a reliable, hard working, and Experienced Carpenter to work for different construction projects. You may work on a variety of projects, framing, decking, window and stair customizations, crown molding, and baseboard installation, decks, doors, windows, bathroom’s, kitchens and tiling. Our ideal candidate has an aptitude for precision, leadership skills and can accommodate unique build requirements from clients. We require candidates who have prior finish experience.

Carpenter Duties and Responsibilities

Perform carpentry work according to plans and specifications as given by the owner.
Measure, cut, and install various fixtures and doors, windows, staircases, decking, etc.
Erect scaffolding or ladders as needed.
Collaborate with other carpenters, and managers to complete projects.
Troubleshoot and repair issues with building components and equipment.
Follow established regulations and advocate for safety on each worksite as defined by OSHA standards. OSHA training can be provided.
High school diploma or GED certificate.

Able to complete OSHA 10 Course.
Leadership skills.
Ability to work within a budget for both time and materials.
At least 3 years of finished carpentry experience as an independent worker.
Keen attention to detail.
Blueprint reading skills are a requirement.
Able to use common hand tools and power tools.
PPE and carpentry trade tools.
Troubleshooting and communication skills.
Physical stamina for lifting equipment and working at various heights and in tight spaces.
Driver’s License, Vehicle and smart phone with picture taking capabilities are mandatory.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
